Since I was a little girl, I was always attracted to anything art related, and as I went and studied Fine Arts, I found myself opening a company in which I was the Lead Designer and creator of all of our products. I focused on understanding what our clients wanted and tried to reinterpret their wants into my designs. I would also work with custom requests specially made for a specific client, and through them I learned how to listen and interpret what was that the other person was trying to tell me before translating it onto paper.
I always put effort into trying to understand what was the need that had to be fulfilled and from there, I would research which were the possible paths to follow. I learnt which was the best way to interact with the client and how to present the proposals and sketches in a way that would make it easier for them to understand where we were standing in the process.
Regardless of being off the shelf or custom work, I would follow up on each of the clients together with the sales team to make sure we were on the same track and everything was moving accordingly and, most importantly, on time.
I always tried to learn new programs and skills to help me improve the quality of our works as we kept growing and new tools were available. It always helped us stay on top of our game as well as constant research on the market we were working with.
It was a great experience and I learned so much from it that I'm only thankful about it!
Nowadays I'm learning new skills, improving the ones that I already have and working on expanding my portfolio while looking for a new challenge, so I'm looking forward to the new opportunities that I will find along this new path that I've started to walk through.
